The Prahran Standard Cedar Sauna is currently progressing through final fabrication at our manufacturing facility. Additional updates will be added as the project progresses.
Premium cedar is a natural material and knots are an inherent feature of the timber. All cedar surfaces are sanded smooth prior to sealing, preserving the natural character and appearance of the wood.
Sauna Halfway Through Production

Production Update
The primary cedar structure has been assembled and the internal bench layout is taking shape. At this stage the sauna is still progressing through fabrication.
Fitting 316 Stainless Steel Straps
316 stainless steel compression straps being fitted to the exterior of the sauna during fabrication.
Strapping Update
The external stainless steel straps are installed to support the sauna structure and complete the exterior assembly.
Complete Timber Interior Fit Out
Detail of the completed cedar interior fit out, including bench construction and heater guard.
Interior Update
The internal cedar fit out has been completed. All cedar surfaces are sanded smooth and prepared for final sealing.
Lighting & Controls Installation
The sauna with lighting and control systems installed and operational during factory testing.
Lighting Update
Lighting and control components have been fitted, allowing the warm cedar interior and overall presentation of the sauna to be evaluated.
